About Me
Cinematographer. Filmmaker. Storyteller.
I first became interested in video when I was in high school. I received my only 'A' in my schooling life and that was for media. myself along with a good friend Matt 'Oki" O'Callaghan made a short film using VHS tapes which sparked my interest in video. From there my passion grew working in production with the Government of South Australia on many products. In 2017 a good friend of mine asked if I could film her wedding. I did so as a favour to her and I absolutely loved it. I then went about asking other friends why they didn't use videographers at their weddings and was blown away by the unanimous response... they are too expensive. I was upset that people couldn't afford to capture their special event, so I created Lacey Productions to help everyone that deserves to have a great quality video for their event to create a memory of a lifetime.

I am not a big fan of people taking photos of myself, BUT Dan has captured our day from start to finish so perfectly. And it is a video I am proud to sit and share with my family and friends. Dan makes you feel comfortable and so special and has the great talent of taking perfect shots. Planning for a wedding can be stressful, with endless choices on suppliers and trying to find the perfect someone for your day is hard. I chose to have a videographer very last minute and after looking around Dan seemed like the best choice and was so helpful with everything I needed. He was by far the best choice I made when planning the wedding and will use him again if the need arises for a videographer. I recommend him to anyone and everyone who requires his services, not only for weddings but all events, I look forward to future milestones and being able to book again. It wasn’t something that we had initially thought of but once we started talking to Dan, he was so excited about being part of our wedding that we couldn’t not have him. He is full of ideas, passion and vision. Having Dan with us on our special day genuinely made it so much more magical. He is a calming presence to have around and it some ways we hardly noticed he was there. ...He just blended in and was able to capture to some really raw and beautiful moments.

Thank you so much to Dan from Lacey Productions for capturing our wedding on 21/10/17. The day was just perfect and having Dan film our ceremony with the drone is something we can look back on and treasure forever. Dan was amazing from the start and allowed us a trial to see what he could do and he exceeded our expectations. He was friendly, professional and turned up very well dressed and interacted with our guests which made the whole experience so comfortable.
